The Goldendale Creative District was born from the efforts of the Arts committee of the Goldendale Chamber of Commerce. The premise is simple - the well-being of our community is enhanced by artistic and creative pursuits, and the Goldendale economy can be driven forward through innovation, creativity and the arts.

Since our first town hall two years ago, the original Arts Committee has evolved into the Goldendale Creative District. We separated from the Chamber of Commerce and became a Washington charity with non-profit fiscal sponsorship provided by Shunpike Arts Collective. Our first arts project in 2025 was a mural at the baseball fields, and in 2026 we kicked off a series of events called the Four Seasons Creative Showcase.

We are actively looking for ways to engage more deeply with the Goldendale community, bring people together at events that celebrate the arts, and support local artists, creators and innovators. Come plan the future with us at our next town hall!

We all love the winter holidays, but sometimes we can get a little cabin fever! Get out of the house and join us at The Lodge for a Winter Solstice Make and Take crafting event.

We’ll have fun activities for kids and adults. Come make last-minute Christmas cards, gift tags, ornaments for your tree and more! Bring your friends, your kids, your reluctant spouse, grandma and grandpa, and anyone else who wants to express their creative side this holiday season.

This is a fundraiser for the Creative District, but there is no charge to come enjoy the live music and refreshments. Everyone is welcome!
